KONUS KONEX Customer: Konus Konex d.o.o.
Challenge
For our customer Konus Konex d.o.o., whose business activity is the production of conveyor belts, non-woven materials and filters, a targeted energy audit had to be implemented in order to end the production of centrally prepared technological steam.
Solution
With the implementation of the targeted energy audit, it was suggested to abandon the central boiler room for the production of technological steam and install local production sources to supply technological lines with steam and heat energy. Based on the suggested technological solution which was evaluated for energy and financial aspects in the energy audit, in 2020 our customer implemented the measure and ensured 9,300 MWh of annual savings in the energy supply of the production site.
