The family-owned company Šumer d.o.o., with a long tradition in entrepreneurship and trade, began facing high energy consumption challenges due to energy-intensive production processes such as metal processing and plastic injection molding. Volatile electricity prices posed a significant challenge, making a sustainable and stable energy solution crucial.
Solution
To maintain competitiveness, the company needed to reduce operational costs, including energy expenses. The solar power plants with capacities of 404 kWp and 909 kWp provide greater independence from market fluctuations in electricity prices while also supporting environmental responsibility.
